Our Farms

Where responsible farming becomes everyday practice.

GAUMAA Farms brings Gir cow care, fodder management, hygiene, water access and farm-to-home accountability together within one connected environment.

A farm built around responsibility

Quality begins with what happens every day.

A dairy farm should do more than house cattle. It should create a controlled, comfortable and transparent environment where animal care, cleanliness and responsible handling work together.

At GAUMAA Farms, we focus on the complete system—from the breed and feed to the shed, water, hygiene and direct customer relationship. This gives us greater accountability over the practices behind every product.

“A trustworthy farm is one where customers can understand the people, animals and daily routines behind the product.”

The farm environment

Designed for comfort, movement and daily care.

Our farm spaces prioritise airflow, organised feeding, accessible water and clean resting areas. The layout helps cows follow a familiar routine while allowing the team to monitor and maintain the environment effectively.

A calm farm supports safer interaction, more organised care and better visibility over the needs of individual animals.

01

Ventilated Shelter

Open circulation and high roofing support airflow.

02

Organised Feeding

Accessible troughs support cleaner, calmer feeding routines.

03

Daily Observation

Appetite, movement and visible condition receive regular attention.

Farm-controlled process

We stay responsible for the important stages.

Our goal is to reduce uncertainty by managing the factors that influence animal welfare, farm hygiene and product handling.

01

Breed & Herd

We focus on our own Gir cow herd and the daily needs of each animal.

02

Feed & Water

Seasonal fodder, suitable roughage and clean water support daily care.

03

Hygiene & Handling

Defined routines help maintain cleaner farm and handling environments.

04

Customer Accountability

Direct feedback connects customers more closely with the farm behind the brand.

Care beyond infrastructure

The farm also supports natural behaviour.

Physical facilities matter, but a good farm also respects the emotional and social needs of animals.

Mother–calf contact, gentle handling and familiar daily routines form part of our wider approach to responsible care.

Our long-term responsibility

We care for the complete life of the animal.

GAUMAA Farms does not view animals only through short-term productivity. Young, mature, male, female and ageing animals remain part of our farm responsibility.

This principle shapes how we think about shelter, nutrition, health observation and the conservation of indigenous Gir cattle.

01

Young Animals

Calf care, maternal contact and age-appropriate attention.

02

Adult Herd

Comfort, feed, hygiene and regular health observation.

03

Ageing Animals

Continued shelter and care based on changing needs.

Our story

A Family Concern That Became a Promise of Purity

The story of Gaumaa Farms did not begin with a business plan. It began with founder Vikrant Yadav’s concern about the food his family could trust.

Vikrant spent more than 15 years as a professional civil engineer working on major highway infrastructure projects in and around London. That career was built on precision, systems and accountability. Living in the United Kingdom also showed him how seriously consumers value food quality and traceability.

When his father was diagnosed with diabetes, the family began looking more carefully at everyday food choices and where food came from. The diagnosis was a turning point—not proof that any single food caused the condition, but a reason to take transparency more seriously.

“If we cannot find food we trust, we will create it ourselves.”

From a Small Setup to a Dedicated Gir-Cow Farm

The family’s journey began as a small setup in 2009. In 2025, Gaumaa Farms was established as a dedicated Gir-cow dairy farm in Dharuhera, Rewari, Haryana. Today the farm cares for more than 50 milking Gir cows, together with calves and young stock.

The Purity Journey Starts in Our Soil

Fodder is grown on our own farmland under direct supervision. We use natural fertiliser made from the farm’s cow dung and do not use synthetic chemical fertilisers, pesticides or artificial growth enhancers on our fodder crops.

Every milk batch is checked each day using an Ultrasonic Milk Analyzer. We are building trust through real practices, clear service areas and evidence—not miracle claims.
